I'm confused. People who run hedge funds are not stupid - why invest in a bank many of whose customers made a deliberate and hassle-inducing decision to bank ethically? If the company is the customers, and the customers are unlikely to appreciate the new company governance.... (fills in the dots) .... or are we all apathetic sheep like most bank customers? I guess we will see...

I am right behind any campaign to bring the bank back into co-operative ownership.
What has happened is shameful and I have no intention of continuing to use a bank in the control of hedge funds and the like.
It was our bank. The co-operative bank, it was a sacred trust to safeguard it and keep it for the co-operative movement.
