Like you say, numbers don't lie. AJ McCarron is a Senior he has led the Crimson Tide to an incredible record. If the Tide wins the BCS this year, it would be a crime not to give the award to the quarterback with four (?) championship rings (sorry I forgot how many). AJ's numbers may not compare to the others but he does his job. When needed he can raise his level of play as he showed at Texas A&M this year and at LSU last year. He is a clutch player. If Saban asked him to walk on water, I believe he would give it a good try. Saban is more interested in a balanced attack and that wins football games. The Heisman race is not as important. Defense is wonderful for Alabama but you can't win a game 0 vs 0. It's a team effort but there is a General; and he is the QB.
