A public school can't validate one religion over every other, otherwise they respect an establishment of religion. By choosing Christian songs over Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Native American songs, they are telling children (who are required to be there) that one religion is endorsed by their teachers, and all others are inferior. Either religious songs of all religions must be in the program, or none.

This makes me feel very sad. Jesus is the reason for the season, it's His birthday not Santa Clause' birthday!
