I was totally surprised to see that they voted Hunger Games above the Book Thief! I'm reading the Book Thief now, and I've already finished the Hunger Games Series. My goodness! The Book Thief is a beautiful, creative, complex story with a writing style I haven't ever seen before. It makes reading it a colorful, artful journey, every word a gem, every passage a (never sugarcoated) treat. I do like the Hunger Games, but the writing and work in general is no match to the Book Thief.

I love the Hunger Games, but people have obviously not read The Book Thief. It is SO much better than HG. The Book Thief is so beautiful and tragic and poignant. Markus Zusak is brilliant.
