If this poll was done 5 months ago then everybody would be saying van persie, because he scored the most goals, now its suarez after hes had 10 good games, u dont become a world class striker overnight. Remy has been the best striker in the premiership for some time by far, and rumours of a certain messi joining him in january will make him unstoppable.

Id say Giroud is a different type of striker than the rest. He's doing what a lot of strikers would not be able to do in the arsenal team, look at the goals, hold up play and assists. Suarez is defiantly on form. Van Persie isn't really doing a lot this season, nor is rooney, Look where man u is in the league!!

Van Persie has been the best striker in the league the last three years. Easily the most valuable to his team. The reason why Suarez was not able to start the season was not because of something out of his control. HE brought the suspensions on himself and nobody cares how many games he has missed because of his actions. I fail to see how Suarez's contribution to football this season makes him the best player. Lets remember that he missed the first 10 games of the season as a consequence for trying his hand at canabalism during a match last season.
However lets look at Aguero, played almost every league game and is averaging over a goal a game. Thats consistancy. Also look at his work rate, passes, assists, defending.....very much a team player and rightfully deserves the accolades coming his way.

In choosing the best striker it is not about just scoring goals but the overall performance in terms of goals, possession on ball when in control, accurate passes, assists, tackles, attitude towards opponents and referees, less fouls committed, unnecessary headlines, bans etc. SUAREZ is good but got too much dirt to make him my favorite striker. I prefer RVP (although he got little issue), ROONEY, AGUERO, BENTEKE (guy is really improving) and LAMBERT who isn’t mentioned. LUKAKU is another promising striker and while STURRIDGE is good, most times he’s selfish on the ball. As for GIROUD, that dude is just too lazy to be a striker although he scores fantastic goals too.
