The Red Cross office in St. John's has collected nearly $25,000 in donations for people affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. Thoughts?

It really speaks to the generosity of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to be helping out so much.

I think we could be doing more to help the dire situation in the Philippines.

It's important to show our support for the local Filipino community as they watch the devastation in their home country from afar.

The provincial government should be doing more to show its support.
