"Throwing a game" is unethical, even if it is strategic.

Please...please...stop with the whining, complaining and feeling sorry for yourself Tioga. If you beat Randolph twice, u would not be in a position to beg Haldane to do your dirty laundry. Promise u grow up, work hard, so that Haldane can take you down next year!!!!

This was about the Best playing the Best, that clearly did not happen. The games with Tioga were too close. it was obvious that Tioga could definatly have taken it from them. Even Randolph said they should have played a tie braker. They wanted to earn that 2nd spot fairl and square, not handed to them. Since Tioga has ever only played 2 games against Haldane, this could have easily turned around in the final 2. Don't even try to tell anyone "I was resting my players" bullcrap, really the last few points of the last game. Not one person I talked to in that arena believed it, and I talked to a lot of people. It got to the point the AA people were watching what was happening. One lady said that coach should be ashamed, this is not a poker game. The worst part was when the players mocked the Tioga fans by laughing and carrying on after the LOSS. They may hold the title, but we will never know if they truely deserved it. I can also tell you the coaches at Tioga would never, ever throw a game to win a Title, in fact they even point out to the Ref. when we screw up and they miss it. Maybe we will meet again next year, that is all we can do.
