Cars/trucks like the Brat will no doubt reach collectible status but as far a Classic goes I have my doubts. I'm starting to see 25 year old (and older) Japanese cars show up at Show 'N' Shines in ever increasing numbers so their presence is here. I guess that means the restored version of the rusted remains of the '71 Toyota pickup I used to have (the second owner still has it although it hasn't run in 25 years) may grace the local car show one day.
