Would it be enough to keep your theism if you lost your Christianity? Are you a theist before and above the fact that you are a Christian? Is the God of reason

I would become a deeply satisfied heathen. Why pretend to love and obey a God who doesn't speak?

I would become a Daoist or Buddhist, since I think a sense of wonder and finitude is still important.

I would maintain my Christian fellowship and customs, since I think even the God of philosophers deserves a kind of religious respect.

I would go about my life but would argue vehemently against atheism, even though I would not practice any religion.
