seems to me that if SHE is the one who caused the problem then all responsibility lies with her , why is he the one that has to correct this, obviously a case of narccistic gender discrimination yet again against the male

Until you have been though it, you can't give a true answer. Before it happened to me I thought I would never stay in the marriage. But because we have kids I really needed to step back and reevaluate our life. My husband had to reevaluate his life as well. For now we are working towards a bigger picture and have the same goals for our family. It's been a rough road but I think it's worth fighting for. I also accept that there is a chance I will still leave the marriage down the road once I finish gathering all the pieces and have all my emotional strength back.
