Looks like I'll be getting a step up from my 32gb Neptune Pine, congratulations on hitting another milestone of backer funding :)

When will the 64gb pledge swap options be available?
Also have you guys thought about upping the ram?
Or increasing the resolution of the screen?
And where does the name Neptune Pine originate from?

p.s Liking the swivel stream lined wrist strap especially the metallic with branding on the side

The original goal was 64gb. Don't go back on your word.

I sincerely believe that NFC should not be enabled on our new watches; Neptune Pine. The threat assessment for potential identity theft and malicious software has been identified and disclosed. I personally feel that we presently expose ourselves to so many privacy issues, that to add another could break the "camel's" back... For those of you unbelievers on the security risks of NFC, i refer you to http://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelvenables/2013/08/08/wall-of-sheep-near-field-communication-hack-at-def-con/
BTW: When I signed up to get the Pine over a month ago, there was no talk about all these stretch goal initiatives. I wanted it and still want it for it's original purpose (Mobile telephony),watch function and some entertainment. Memory is something that everyone can use, so I say YES for 64GB as many people may like that but as for me, I'll stick with my original 32GB order.....

What would you do with a 8 giga version ?
NFC is really something that you will use every day that you all accept to loose half of your storage ?
With 8 giga we just can download a few apps, 2 of 3 playlist of music and thats all ..
Personatly a dont agree with the idea of having a smartwach full of storage after a few weeks! And NFC use a lot of battery
Dont forget that a lot of people have NFC on their phone and dont use it .
64 giga is something that everybody can use. Storage is never enough it can always help ! :)

the NFC would make for a great addition. With access to cloud media, there's no need for additional disk space. Having a 64 over a 8gb doesn't serve any functional purpose, it's just a way to charge more $. I know I didn't buy the watch to have the ability to watch movies on my wrist... Stick to your advertised platform and what's needed to bring that product to market.

    NFC with 32GB

While I think NFC would be a major plus. At the cost of 8-24 GB depending model backed on. I would have to go with the 64 GB.

I am concerned the stretch goals are actually reducing interest in the pine. First it was the cheap neoprene band, now cutting the storage by at least half.

16gb is minimum. I wish NFC add a micro SD SLOT.

You guys do not even give option for us to give you some input on what we want. Who wants 8gb with NFC atleast make it 16gb with NFC this is so stupid.

Would rather have an entirely new feature (NFC) than more of the same feature (disk space). What do you need all that space on a watch for, anyway? Think of the super cool things you might be able to do with that watch if it had NFC. Besides, NFC might mitigate storage issues by making it simple to transfer things on and off the watch.

I voted for 8GB. Do I remember that there is an sdcard slot? If not I would have to go for a minimum of 32GB with the NFC.
