Gem City is more in the science fictional realm, though I know that there is magic of a sort in it. Most of what I write, currently, is more science fiction than anything else. Butcher's Bill and Defcon are both alternate histories and Kinstealer is probably going to be some kind of space opera with some fantasy elements tossed in.
Speculative fiction! I know it's an umbrella term, but I have a really hard time classifying what I write as "fantasy" or "science fiction." Most of it's more like magical realism. How do you classify your superhero book? As fantasy or something else?
