Do you think fighting should be allowed in women's hockey?

I don't understand the survey as "Fighting" is already against the rules. That is why they have penalties for doing it. It is the same as tripping, hooking, cross-checking, slashing, etc.. These infractions are already against the rules and that doesn't stop players from doing it. If the Referees would call all infractions, there would cease to be so many because the players and coaches would not want to spend so much time killing penalties. Enforce the rules and the nonsense would stop.

the NHL players fight out of frustration and to put a spark into the game for their respective teams.

After watching the news about the Canadian and American ladies playing their hockey game on December 20, I thought that the fight broke out because one player was coming to the defence of her teammate. What is wrong with that? I'd say if the guys can do so in a much faster and harder hitting speed, why can't the ladies do so in a slower paced game? That "line-brawl" between the canadian team and american team actually got me interested in seeing what happens next between the two rivals.

I've played ice hockey since 1973. It's not about equal rights, it's about the GAME and what needs to be done on the ice get's done on the ice. It's not about gender in any regard, it's about the GAME and anyone who has played ice hockey knows what that means. Staged fights on the other hand are not necessary and there is a difference between that type of hockey fight and the women's fight that we have watched. GO CANADA GO!!!

We should be allowed to fight in hockey - we deserve the same equal rights as men!
