Should the Pontoon be changed back to standing? I remember the the atmosphere in days gone by....

Although my back would not let me stand all the way through a match anymore - I would not want to deprive any youngster from sharing the excitement generated in a full stand of standing supporters. They are called stands for a reason and can now be sectioned for safety.

Designated standing areas should be provided. There is little doubt that standing areas generate more passion and involvement with the game. Although it is possible to install systems that allow the option of sitting or standing (incorporating rails that also have drop down seats) this is likely to create conflict between the standers and sitters with the latter complaining about visibility.
As long as safety systems exist to prevent future "Hillsborough" incidents, standing areas should be provided for all fans who prefer it.
