Problem is the Celtics have three good players penciled in at one position. Bass, Wallace, and Olynyk.
If I was Danny that is where trade talk concentrates. Bass or Wallace will be gone before the trading date ends. Preference is obviously Wallace to go. Big contract but a very good player for a team that wants it all right now. What can they get for him? There are about 7 or 8 teams in that status. One of them might bite right at the last minute. If they just take his contract off Celtics hands that might do it.
Bottom line is at this point of the season its time to give more minutes to Olynyk.
The next draft will bring another prospect or two at that same position. Bass could go but you get something for him?
