Wait! Maybe the Vikings deal is unconstitutional! Do you think we should delay the deal to figure this out?

Hey John, regarding the Vikings stadium halt and the discussion on your Monday afternoon show. I have two words for you: Representive Democracy. For all the people who continually say, "I didn't get to vote on this or that - it's my tax dollars... I want to vote on it"... no really... you did. Our forefathers designed our governement called a Representive Democracy in whch citizens hold the power by electing officials to represent them. Period. Referring to one of your Monday callers (Jennifer), she did the right thing, she contacted Mpls City Council members to express her opposition to the new stadium. But majority rules and there could've been a dozen Hennepin County citizens (just like her) that supported the stadium - to her one vote of opposition. Sorry - thats the deal and maybe you will be on the winning side on the next issue. We as citizens DO NOT get to individually cast a vote on every single issue brought forwatd to legislators (city, county, state, national)... get over it. You DO have a vote - to elect or unseat your representation in this democracy we call America.
