My dad yelled "you frustrate the he'll put of me", in the middle of a conversation we were having. I can't keep thoughts in my head and forget words constantly. Really hurt my feelings.

I've got brain fog which I find comparable to that difficulty concentrating and thinking clearly after taking Benadryl or similar medications... only it never wears off. It's one of many symptoms I've developed, and I'm in the testing process of obtaining a diagnosis of Cushing's Syndrome.

I've had brain fog for many years. I have psoriatic arthritis and fibro. I feel it often knocks my confidence especially when speaking to people in a work capacity and i cant find the right word or substitute with a word that is totally from left field ie. I once asked a patient "would you like a window" when I meant " would you like a blanket". I've found that if I slow myself down, it gives me more time for my cognitive functions to work properly (ish). When mentoring I explain to students that I suffer from brain fog and, once I've got that out of the way I'm not so worried about tripping up with my words. Exercise seems to help lift the fog for a while afterwards. I have the odd day (maybe 3 a year) when my head is clear and I just make the most of those days

I have fibromyalgia, was diagnosed 4 yrs ago but probably had it for about 14 yrs. brain fog is something that had started 2 months ago, and it's been happening every day and all day now. I get so frustrated now cuz of it and feel so stupid. the memory and confusion is affecting me alot around other people and friends. I feel so embarrassed about it.

I have had multiple sclerosis for 21 years and brain fog seems to accompany that for me all the time. it is very frustrating and although I have a degree I still feel very stupid at times because of it.

I had to give up on my degree after trying for 6 years. I couldn't keep up with all the reading and the essays even though what I handed in came back as a high 2:1. I'm gutted.
