I think it took the school systems by surprise also... As a working mom of 2, I feel if they're gonna delay school due to cold weather(not close to extreme),it only seems sensible to to delay school due to snow,until streets and roadways have been cleared or deemed unsafe for my children to be transported on. A day with the boys home and safe due to hazardous weather, makes more since than them being home for alot of these ridiculous holidays. JUST MY OPINION....

If the roads are not bad why close school!!!!!!!if they had close school ppl would be complaining that they did. Darn if they do and darn if they don't!!!
