Which do you buy?

    From another frugalista:
    - Instead of throwing out the small soap shards, put them into your liquid soap dispenser where they'll eventually dissolve
    - Stretch out the soap by diluting the liquid soap by at least a quarter of the volume (or more without compromising its cleaning properties) - the soap is usually very thick and you end up using too much of it
    - We use bar soap for bathing and liquid soap for handwashing in the bathroom and kitchen because it's more sanitary and doesn't leave a watery mess in the soap tray

Buy both but use bar soap more than liquid soap. If liquid soap is not refilled then I hope the container is recycled and not tossed into garbage.

`Prefer liquid for hands in bathrooms and kitchen and either bar or liquid in shower (dependent on person). We refill the liquid soap dispensers (not throw them out) and watch for the refills to go on sale. It is less messy for hands at the sinks.

I prefer the bar soap for everything. I only buy the body wash as a liquid because my teenage boys prefer it.

I like to use liquid for washing hands in the bathrooms and kitchens, and bars are for the shower or bath.
