I agree with her comment only in that it is true for all work. I've experienced long-term negative effects--physically and emotionally--from being an office worker.

I only say yes because sex work is work and all work has some negative impact - stress, challenging clients etc. And that, like Rach, I agree that though sex workers provide a valuable and essential service, they also face a enormous amount of stigma and discrimination.

I only say yes as the negative impact would be the possible alienation from peer groups or people close to those selling sex would shun, disparage or completely write them off.
