LMAO!!! E-40 is the WORST! He has a song in which he states, "Jesus Christ had dreads so shake them. I ain't got none but I'm thinking about growing some."

E-40 is the worst, and trying to compare him to Magoo and ODB shows that deep down you agree, none of them niggas is any good.

I agree with the previous commenter. E-40 is a legend. The fact that he is as known as he is now, is a testament to his talent. He has helped influence and progress hip hop culture in a multitude of ways however the most specific is that he continues to represent his self, his town and his crew in a way that expresses himself uniquely. I put him in the same category as Twista.

Hell yes he is! His raps and style are unique, the stories he comes up with are perfect portrayals of his town, and he is constantly on his grind. Also, the simple fact that while many people talk about his slang, you often find people utilizing them in urban situations. You smell me? Like I said, the fact that he has been extremely successful with his underground endeavors many times over lends to the idea that he is a success. Don't equate the fact that he doesn't get play on the East Coast to his level of talent.
