The word was used in "Roots" and in "Glory"!!!
Also, why is it that Afro-Americans can call each other that ; and not Whites to an Afro-American?
If the NFL was smart, they would tell the owners to have a meeting with players @ the same time...
and say this is how its going to be:
There is no such word while you're on THIS TEAM in the locker room, hotel/motel room, on the bus,
plane, train, field, and if you do you sit without pay! Super Star or NOT! Attach a fine and make it stick!!!
They should apologize to the WHOLE team for their impertenance!
There should be witnesses (loyalty among thieves is no excuse for ignorance).
Wonder if the people of Great Britain have problems with their "Darkies" being called that ?
Should maybe ask them how its handled ....if at all!!!!
