I quite like the white background but agree with earlier commenters... the "Welcome to our Store" adds a personal acknowledgement of the readers.. Some how making it an 'invitation as well as statement. Great work either way. Triple T Studios are such an inspiration.
I also like the white background and I love the picture of the real tiger sitting with the house cat. It should still say "Welcome to our Store" somewhere on the top though. It's a bit easier to read and the colors are nice.
