Cally is an over-rated player. The proof is that - unlike Vanek, Kesler and MacDonald - nobody was trying to get him as a rental.
His contract demands are silly. He's a good player - not a great one and the chances of him making $6mil for 6 years look like anything other than a debacle are somewhere between slim and none.
