i have MS, Undifferntiated MCTD, Stage 3 CKD. With all of those numerous issue that are too many to list. I have 3 letters, one from Neurologist, Rheumatologist, and PCP. All stating why I would be a liability for employer and to myself. It's been 18 months, with a disability lawyer and I'm waiting for a court date! I did not even want to give up work, loved my job. It's SO hard to endure the Government treating you like a deadbeat when this is the last thing I would have ever wanted to go through! I'm just standing on faith that God will bring me through this!

The younger and more proof of disabillity the better, the road is not easy but well worth the piece of mind for your childs future.

It was so easy. The doctor met my son for 2 min. and said "I will write out my recommendations" My son stripped to his diaper (the feel of clothing is a bother) he yelled, and got really fidgety, the dr knew for sure it was real, and we needed help. The whole process was about less then 60 days.

i am in australia and have applied and been denied twice.given reasons for denial 1. diabetes not under control(um that is my problem cannot work as fluctuating BGL s cause me to faint so driving is out of the question also. 2. my mental health counselor is not a clinical psychiatrist and neither is my GP (so apparently neither of these health care proffessionals diagnosis count!) both my GP and mental health nurse are fighting for me as both agree i need to be on a disability pension, so we are appealing and now in process of "waiting" for appeal results!! not holding my breath for a good result!! GP has sent off a referal to a clinical psychiatrist, again waiting to get in and also an endocronoligist. clearly the powers that be will only take notice of diagnosis from specialists. arthritis specialist report is only one they haven't disputed yet arthritis is the least problem of my multiple health issues

not only did it take over 2 years to become approved. In less than a year of receiving bennafits. twice Ive received a letter stating Ive been over paid and they will take all of my benafits for several months to repay. I was granted a wavor in December. Only to receive a new letter with a new withholded amount in FEB. I have filed for wavor once again. Not only that but being a single mother of 2 with no child support no one has yet to explane to me why neither of my children receive benafits. 3 people trying desperatly to live off less than 800 a month. and they keep tryinh to TAKE IT. .... ohh and also being on SSD means my income is not taxed and we a family of 3 only qualify for 224.00 a month food benafits.
