Do you use bottled water or an onboard filter when you travel?

My email can't be published! We use some bottled, otherwise what's available where we park. Thanks for your helpful site!

I buy bottled water mainly for my cat. My cat has a sensitive stomach, the bottled water keeps his water consistent. As for me, I do what the above three comments do.

We have never bought bottled water in the 14 years we have been full-timing. We have a dual filter where the water enters the coach, an undersink filter and then put drinking water through a Brita. Ice cube trays are filled from the Brita and we fill stainless steel water bottles to take with us to golf, play tennis and on day trips.

I use the blue filters between the water source and my hose and I also have a whole-house filter. Then, for drinking water, I use a Brita Water Pitcher. My three grandkids, 11, 9, and 5, just visited and they were raving about "Grammy's triple filtered water." They didn't want their parents' bottled water, only the triple filtered water from Grammy's fridge. It was funny. And it really is good, clear, cold water; I never buy bottled water anymore. :)

We go both ways, depending on how bad the source. Much of the time we start out with bottled or bulk water then test the water source and make a determination from that.
