If only for an experiment, I would like to see what Canada would be like for a while without Quebec. It may be a good thing for both sides to put things in perspective.
The skewing of transfer payments has always irritated me and many other Ontarians I am sure.
And talk of 'breaking up' the country like the Eastern provinces would fall into the ocean - its not a big deal. Look at the USA and Alaska, and Hawaii, or the UK and it's many colonies.
