No. As evidenced by recent NCAP tests, Indian-built vehicles don't exactly have a stellar reputation for safety.

I'm not sure. Outfit it with the right equipment and it could perform well in Canada, but it might also cannibalize Micra sales.

Sure, but on one condition: Nissan doesn't offer it with a CVT and keeps the five-speed manual.
