I've been a vegetarian for 25 years and still enjoy the feeling of eating delicious, guilt-free meals. When I was still working, everyone was always interested in what I brought to eat and commented on how beautiful and delicious my meals were. I hope I planted the seeds that would eventually lead some of them to stop eating meat, and to be more aware of animals in all aspects of their lives. If I leave this world with that as my legacy, I will consider my life well spent.

It is everyone's responsibility to be educated about animal welfare. There is no excuse for ignorance! It is our duty and responsibility to not only be educated about animal welfare, but we need to do whatever we can to help animals. I believe it is our duty to be good stewards of the planet and all its creatures. That is more important than anything else in our lives. When we depart from this world, the world is still here. So the quality of life on earth matters because we will leave this world in the hands of future generations. We must leave behind a good legacy because if we do not, future generations will blame us for the condition of the planet and its creatures.

I became Vegan after learning how my choices were causing animals to suffer. That was 20 years ago. When you believe you are doing the right thing, it isn't hard to do at all.
