Great stat for Rob Martell. No playoff games. That is the extent of accountability for NHL officials. If they are blatantly missing calls and making bad ones then they don't get fired. They just don't do playoffs. I just watched a Bruins vs Leafs game (April 3, 2914) of which Rob Martell was officiating. Oh my. An absolute embarrassment. Kessel nearly breaks Hamilton's cheekbone with a high stick. No call. But he calls a tripping penalty against Miller when M.Raymond simply loses an edge as he tries to stop. Also calls a holding penalty in OT that was insane. He is without a doubt an inept, incompetent little weasel. By the way, my last name is Martell also. No relation.

I had forgotten that it was Martell who had made that previous horrendous call against the Kings!
Last night's disallowed goal should have been allowed!! Martell should be reprimanded and then suspended for two games without pay!! They do that for the players! Why can't they do that for poor refereeing?!!!
