Which of the following best describes your feelings about the Jets' approach to free agency so far?

Going into the free agency period with cap space in the top 25% in the black there was every reason to expect this team to make at least two to 4 significant additions to a roster in dire need of major upgrading. The jets were poised to make their move. Instead, our G.M. sat on his over stuffed wallet and watched as the premium f/a's were signed quickly mostly by teams with significantly less cap space than we had. A recent example would be the Giants who reportedly had only about 9 million in cap space signing the Cb Thurmond and the safety Demps plus possibly about to sign D.R.C after we let him walk out of our complex unsigned? I am sick & tired of hearing about this so called "master plan" by our new "Zen Master" who people are talking about like he's some kind of mystical genius. My question is why? What has he done to inspire this confidence? He basically implementer deposed G.M Mike Tannenbaum's plan last off season in dealing with our bad cap situation. He then produced a mediocre draft that featured one excellent player in Sheldon Richardson, two players who showed promise at the end of the season and are "possibilities' to emerge as players, one player who proved to be in completely over his head in guard Brian Winters who PFF rated as the worst player at his position after last season, two players that were apparently so bad they spent the entire season in limbo as they were inactive all 16 games and clearly should have been relegated to the practice squad. And finally he drafted a F.B. who again, was rated the worst at his position and played like it as well. So as i understand it, we are supposedly going to compete with the upper echelon teams by drafting mediocre player, ignoring top quality free agents and instead shopping in the bargain bin?
Can anybody refute the fact that our team would have been greatly improved had we signed J.Byrd and paired him with J.Allen, signed A.Verner to replace Cro and paired him with Milliner and Signed Guard J,Schwartz to replace Willie Colon? They were all there, all get-able,all affordable. They are all significant upgrades to anyone on our current roster. Oh well, I guess we have to hope the new Zen master can work a miracle in the upcoming draft because he clearly struck out in free agency!
