The 6% total paving appears inaccurately low and misleading. (1.) by the City's own report, the design is not even finished yet - how is the 'imagined' part included - if there is nothing yet to measure? (2.) was all the existing paving included, such as the existing parking lot and lead up drive that was expanded years ago. (3.) Many of the quick napkin figured numbers given at the City Council March 17, 2014 contained numerous inconsistencies. On a side note, the heavy equipment construction side bar access, caused severe adjacent soil compaction potential damage. This 15' + 10' +15' = 45'+ swath of destructive soil compaction was never considered in totality as additional soil and root damage, beyond just the 10' new Asphalt paved 'roadway' and its buried drain pipe on either side that constitutes a larger dug out width than 10'.

This is kinda like 'Putin Poll'. (backed up by the Coleman army) The question needs to be much more than Aesthetics vs. Accessibility. Willistead park can easily have both, with thoughtful design process that includes proper public consultation, considers the environment and cultural heritage paramount and looks at alternate solutions that enhance accessibility by higher calibre thinking, - unhindered by MBA blight.
