Were the Sharks right to drop Michael Lichaa after he signed with the Bulldogs?

Players should play where they are happy I am a Bulldog supporter and I have great respect for my club. They released Ben Barba who is a super star, a player who could not catch the high ball and miss many tackles. The Bulldogs invested so much into him and he decides to follow his partner and kids due to his previous bad choices in life. Broncos will not release Hoffman what a bunch of hypocrites they are, the least they can do is give us Barba for Hoffman, Hoffman really wants to come to the Bulldogs. As for Cronulla shame on you how dare you drop Lichha every players has a choice where they want to play. I agree with the comments above if you want to set a precedent drop Fifita as well. Michael welcome to the Bulldogs family finally we have another Lebanese player hope you set a good example for all the youths of Western Sydney just like Hazem El Masri !!!!

If the sharks are serious about playing finals footy they should be playing young Lichaa if they don't want to play him they should release him

all of you fail to grasp the point. Big difference is that Lichaa is a local junior and wants to leave the club. Sharks have invested heavily on his development and he deserved to dropped back to park footy.

All the ex tiger and panther players including Lewis and Fifita were not wanted by their respective clubs.
Dont know how you can consider this poaching.

They should be dropping Fifita as well then. Tigers didn't drop heighington, beau Ryan and fafita when they signed with the sharks. If clubs started doing this then they would have a lot of good players in reserves. Its easy for them to do because he is not a regular first team player. But it sends a hypocritical message that there is one rule for elite players and another for up and coming players. Why take a stand on loyalty if sharks depend so much on recruiting players from outside the club then they should not be buying players from other clubs and sticking with their own. Its very hypocritical of them. Bring back Flanagan.

There is a huge difference in dropping an origin test playing prop & a rookie rake.. Although being a West Tiger supporter I find it a bit ironic coming from the infamous Tiger Sharks, who have a team built around barely any junior development.

I'm a very proud "hypocite" and I believe Andrew Fifita should also be dropped. I hate the thought of watching Cronulla this year with Fifita and Lichaa wearing a Sharks jersey. I won't mind watching David Fifita though, at least he wants to play for the Sharks.
