Should saggy pants be banned on public buses?

I think the really funny part of all of this is that if these people "sagging" their pants knew where the "fad" started they probably would think twice about doing it themselves...lol. In the prison systems in the late 80's and early 90's homosexual prisoners started "sagging" their pants to let other prisoners know that they were "available"...somehow, some idiots decided that this looked cool and started doing it in our public society and in my opinion that is the same thing as indecent exposure. No one wants to see anyone else's boxers, underwear, or the crack of their ass. If you feel the need to expose your private garments to people, put up a damn clothesline at home!!

i think it should be banned everywhere. do u really want ur kid to see that.. we try to keep our kids guarded by not letting them watch r rated movies.. ok well wat is the differnce from the movies to walking outside and seeibg someones butt or there underwear.. it should be taken as indecent exposure.. people need to have respect for others and keep ur pants pulled up.. plus it protects the people that wears there pant half way down.. u no how many germs are on a city bus or even on a park bench..

I think saggy pants hanging off your bottom should be banned all together not just on a public bus. In my opinion it should b indecent exposure. No body want to see the hind end of anybody in a public setting or be forced to look at someone's behind at any given time for any reason. I am all for passing a law that prohibits improper dressing for anybody that is showing way to much. I applaud anybody that stands up for good christain values and what's right, way to go to the bus depot!!! Praise the lord

Absolutely disagree. Who are you to turn someone away because you disagree with how they dress, or how they dress makes you uncomfortable? (I'd argue that it's not the saggy pants at all, but the group of people wearing the saggy pants that makes people uncomfortable). If you do this, ban shirts with confederate flags, that makes some people uncomfortable. Ban flip flops, feet makes some people uncomfortable. Ban low cut shirts, boobs makes some people uncomfortable. This is beyond ignorant.

Absolutely no. In the interests of individual freedom NO. As much as I dislike the saggy pants. I think it's a stupid fad. Usually when I see it, I just laugh. But I don't think there should be a law against it. Or someone should be denied a public service just because they choose to dress differently.

If they're exposing something, that's different. That's another law with merit. But just wearing saggy pants is not a crime. There is no victim, therefore no crime. Some of you are old enough to remember how folks used to treat guys with long hair. "Is that a woman or a man?" It's the same thing.

I believe that "Only actions that directly infringe on the rights of others can properly be termed as crimes. Any efforts to improperly term an action as a crime is a crime in itself."

I look at it as a health violation if the only layer between someone's "bottom" and the seat is their underwear (which is a very thin material).

You should not be able to refuse someone for what they wear this is ridiculous

I'm not for it...it will never work. People have the right to freedom of expression and if they ban sagging pants then I'm pretty sure GTA will lose a lot of much needed revenue.
