I like you ladies in waiting, Steve! They wouldn't appear in the book though... I might just draw them as such. It's something that would have to be worked out on an individual basis. I think.
All good options, though I went for signed copies and a chance to become a character.
For the women participants you could do a couple ladies-in-waiting pages. It would be a way to say thank you plus a reminder of the reality of life and love and war.

Es wäre absolut schade, wenn man als Frau keine Möglichkeit hätte, im Background zu erscheinen und ich persönlich hätte absolut kein Problem damit, als Mann gezeichnet zu werden (nur so als möglicher Lösungsforschlag).
