I got my Golden when she was 9, after she was surrendered & pregnant ; perhaps having the pups (who were all adopted) mellowed her. She has a basket full of suck-toys that are in good, though gooey, shape.

My Golden gets all toys with no stuffing.Even at the mellow age of 9 yrs.she will still pull all the stuffing out.
