History, facts and data prove that our nation and society does best when the rich are taxed. The rich used to pay taxes and the government had the necessary resources to keep our society in good shape. Now the government has to barrow from the rich and pay them interest. Where does that money come from? The people that can barely afford to survive already. 400 people controlling half the wealth in this country has allowed a plutocracy to take control of our democracy.

Please educate yourselves regarding income taxes! A flat tax would increase YOUR tax bill and decrease taxes on the rich! It is regressive in nature and would very negatively impact the poor! It saddens me that so many people think a flat tax is a good thing.
Ask the wealthy to pay their fair share instead of parking it overseas in Swiss bank accounts and the Cayman islands.
Progressive, or a theft tax - the more you steal, the more you are penalized.
A consumption tax. You consume more, you pay more.
