Obviously, these ordinary people moving in extraordinary ways in very public places are exemplifying happiness; so happy they forget their surroundings and dance with joy. Why? Because each of them has apparently solved the problem of poor retirement planning by opening an account with E-Trade. The unconscious message is this: Go with E-Trade and you'll be so giddy you won't care about anyone or anything else, because E-Trade is going to make you comfortable in your retirement. And they don't need 100% of Americans to like it: just a tiny percentage of you. I believe the new strategy is going to be a resounding success - love it or hate it.

I have to say, I didn't think the singers in the "Type E" commercial were singing about "Type E." I thought they were saying, "I've go diabetes".

Loved the E Trade baby, very funny stuff and original.
It could actually be plausible; so many of my customer's kids can handle a cell phone or notebook with the ease of of my geeky computer programmer guy, "IT Mike".
Get out of the way you old folks.
I think that kid could run a hedge fund and outperform the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index.
That kid was cool.
The song and dance gig is completely without wit. After seeing it twice, it already makes me want to change the channel. Why would anyone behaving as stupid as they are be smart enough to handle their own investment decisions? Are you kidding me?
That kid needs a sitcom.
If it's not broken, don't fix it.

I loved the baby commercials they were the best ones on TV
Personally I love the 'Type-E' commercials with Spacey doing a semi-Frank Underwood character. The talking baby was just annoying.
