Your boss is inept and incompetent. Do you...
1. Investigate and see if you can find a reason for it. After all, he's proven himself capable in the past.
2. Visit him with a couple of books on management technique, a cup of tea and a sympathetic shoulder pat.
3. Take it all the way to the CEO if necessary; you've worked your butt off and that incompetent's role should be yours.
4. Rant about it on Facebook with your co-workers.
5. Challenge him to a fight to the death, or at least come right out and tell him what an inept incompetent fool you think he is.
6. Start a covert campaign to undermine his leadership. Rally others to your cause (and let them do your dirty work for you.)
7. Offer to take on some of his responsibility. That way you can get experience and he can get some help. And one day... just one day, someone might recognise your worth.
8. Just do his job. Do it better than he did it, and make sure everyone knows you're doing it.
