Replay has worked great. Rules changes/interpretations before the replay system went into place have not been good at all. The transfer rule in particular has always allowed for the first out being called when the catch is made with foot on the bag. Now that after all these years the rule is changed to be enforced as the fielder must control the ball in their throwing hand for the first out to be confirmed is ridiculous.
