I love to cruise and these "horror stories" haven't changed my mind. Just got back a couple of weeks ago from a fantastic cruise.

What bothers me is it happens to the same cruise lines all the time so those particular ones are obviously not doing something right and others are because it seldon or never happens to them. It seems like Carnival his a lot of problems whereas you don't hear about so many problems on Disney or Halland America cruises for example.

Things happen, unfortunately to people, all the time.
We're constantly informed about the bad ones, sometimes
over and over. This is not something that most people haven't heard
before. We should not turn our heads from the bad, but, we do need
to dwell on better instances. Good will alway' s outweigh bad!

You go on a regular vacation and the hotel is lousy, you can move to another. If you get really sick you can go back home or to the nearest hospital. When you are on a cruise you are stuck. When your vacation gets ruined you don't get the time back and may have to wait another year for the next one. All they give you is another cruise and a lot of people do not want to take another or not on that cruise line and this seems to happen to the same ones over and over.
