Come on- I think the author needs to grow up a little bit...especially because MT has been accused of "glamorizing" teen mom's lately- maybe this is their attempt to combat those criticisms? The placenta may not be pretty- but it's actually amazing- that kept your baby alive and nourished for nine months! Wow! And if teen girls are grossed out by that, then maybe that's what they'll picture before deciding to have sex!
