Do you think parents should be required to dress “appropriately” on school grounds?

As a teacher, it's hard to enforce dress code for students when the parents aren't dressed appropriately. I understand that not everyone can look perfect every day, but if the kids and myself have to put forth the effort of getting ready, the parents can/should too

Pajamas are ok. Sexy night gowns not! And appropriate varies so it should say something like parents should be appropriately covered! As someone already wrote no boobs or bums showing and that's fine. I can't care less if someone has a hair curler on. Really will that make my child upset???????

Parents are role models just like teachers and teachers have to dress appropriately while at school. Parents should too.

Everyone's version of "appropriate" is different, and these days even jammies or loungy pants can be better and more modest/less revealing than actual clothing. I think not showing up with boobs and/or bum hanging out, dads not showing up shirtless, would be be appreciated by everyone, especially the kids.

Glad my kids are home schooled.

The students and staff have a dress code to keep things appropriate in the school building, why shouldn't parents also have to strive to be appropriate?

Dressing appropriately should be a no brainer, but apparently isn't anymore.

As all moms know mornings are a rush a lot of the time. It's understandable that sometime you don't look put together, I think it's a bad example to drop your kids off if your still in your Pj's

a parent should always lead by example. Do you want your sons dating a hoochie, or do you want your daughter to become one? I'm assuming the average mother says no. So why the heck would you dress like a hoochie yourself. How emberressing for your children! Set an example people!!!
