I don't believe the guest judges add much -Abby was the absolute worst - very rude, like Len can be at times. She came across arrogant and a know it all. Julianne Hough should have known better to criticize as harshly as she did - her momentary fame seems to have gone to her head. All the others were courteous and complimentary. Talent this season has been exceptional. Wrong people went home last night thanks to Abby - guess she doesn't know as much about dancing as she tried to let on.

Donnie Osmond, Ricky Martin & Robin Roberts were at least decent judges. None of them were snobby or rude in their comments. IF they had guest judges who were all like these I think it would be a nice twist to the show a couple times a season. I don't want to see them every week & personally would not be bothered if they i away with guest judges. I think the 3 regular judges work well with each other & even they sometimes disagree or even battle a bit. Overall though they work well together. There is no reason to bring in outside UNreality TV celebs or others who have dance training. Carrie Ann, Len & Bruno have created a dynamic that works. Don't mess with something that already works. It should be clear that bringing Abby on the show was a TOTAL disaster & she DID deliberately score Maks low & she marked EVERYONE else higher after that plus she was never as critical after Maks called her out. She wasnt dealing with preteen & teen girls or their moms. She frequently criticizes them yet when a man stood up to her & called her out, she gets quiet but still takes out her revenge by deliberately scoring Maks low & everyone else higher. Abbys scores need to be thrown out & ABC needs to put a new rule in place that NO guess judges will ever appear on the show again. That was the most pathetic episode I'v ever seen.

Please get rid of ALL guest judges!...none of them really do a good job, I was a little disappointed in Julianne's comments to Max, they were totally uncalled for...tonight with Abby was THE worse, she is rude and crude, and a mean and horrible, foul person...not one of your better decisions DWTS producers. I hope you read the 99.9% of the bad and negative comments on tonight's show 5-5-14 with Abby Miller!! Love the show, it's good and the judges are good, stop wrecking a good thing!!

I choose Ricky Martin because he voted his own way; the others all seemed to fall into line with what the regulars voted. Robin Roberts would be my second favorite because her comments were so well thought out; so spot-on to the performances.

Julianne Hough ... really ? she is only a household name because of the giant she used to date. she is a distraction and likes to hear herself talk.. the only one who takes her seriously is her brother who has to come to her defense....

The only guest judge that really knows anything about dance is Julianne Hough - however, I agree that the way she expresses herself is cutting and sarcastic ... which is unnecessary and non-productive. I think that the guest judges are a distraction, and add nothing to the overall production. I really like this show - but I absolutely abhor the fact that it often becomes a popularity rather than dance expertise contest. I think more 'weight' should be considered on the judges scores (generally based on expertise) than the audience scores (generally based on popularity). But overall - the costumes, settings, learning a little more about the particular participants on a 'real people' basis, and most of all the dance makes for an enjoyable view!!

The judges are different.....but there is no gray area...they either are very bad or good. Julianna Hough was bad last season and worse this season......she acts like she is better than EVERYBODY else..........difficult to pick I am sure......how about some former.....stars that did not win!! I bet they would love to come back and we would love to see them......I'm just saying..........ND

Get rid of guest judges....it gets boring hearing FOUR people repeat things.......GET RID OF BRUNO......HE IS DISGUSTING, NEEDS TO BE REIGNED IN ON HIS BEHAVIOR.
If you must have guest judges, go for people from the dance troop~ they at least know what they are looking for. (you really don't need any guest judges though) I still can't believe you replaced Brooke Burke with Erin Andrews.....HUGE MISTAKE!! She is annoying.

My comment is about tonight's show. I wouldn't watch that loud mouthed woman on Dance Moms if you paid me! However, since I love DWTS and hate to miss an episode, not sure what to do??? On topic, get rid of guest judges!

I have 4 comments. First, I think the guest judges are a JOKE! GET RID OF THEM! They, almost always give the same evaluation as Bruno, Len & Cari Anne. Their intention is to bring entertainment value to the table. BORING and a lot of crap. We, the viewing public, are used to the regular judges and are more attuned to their opinion. The bottom line to me is that the guest judges are a distraction to the evaluation process that DWTS has. Secondly, since Donny Osmond won the contest a few years ago, his opinion does have more credibility than the other guests (he went through the process so he knows all the feelings that the current celebrities are having - Bravo!)
Thirdly, I also agree with the other comments about julianna Hough. She was rude and nasty and there is still that amount of doubt about how can she really judge her brother fairly? and finally.... Robin Roberts Really??? all of her votes were useless!
I hope the producers of DWTS sees these comments and moves on to other choices of trying to improve the show. One suggestion, give Derek Hough more input. He is a class act, a great dancer and an award-winning choreographer.

I agree with the other Pat. Julianne was horrible. I have never seen Max so down after her comment. She was downright mean. Second year in a row. I hope she never gets invited back. She comes off as a miserable person who needs to make others feel bad. No love lost on her. I cried when I saw and felt Max's pain about the comments she said about him. Wise up DWTS boycott her.

I so agree with Lillian. Julianne was downright rude. She was rude last year to Mark & this year to Max. She may be a fantastic dancer, but she has no class. I lost a lot of respect for her.
