I tried to park in front of the library. When it asked me to enter the meter number, I did, but it kept dropping the last digit no matter how many times I tried it. Plus it was in sunlight and I could barely see the screen. I finally went around the corner and found a free spot. The jump in price? Fifty cents I might have accepted, but a dollar? I think I will skip the whole process and look for parking several blocks away if needed. The walk will be good for me.

Insane price. My dollar bill got stuck in the money slot and could not get it to work, all the while standing in the pouring rain. Will park in lot from now on.
