    I can see it both ways, but there should definitely be punishment involved with an opportunity provided to help them benefit the future.
    If my 11 year old son can face felony charges for pointing his finger at a classmate (playing cops & robbers no less) then why shouldn't a kiddie hacker serve some time in lock-up?
    (Needless to say - we home-school now... our 'redefined country' has now gone completely insane)

    Yes! we need reward more criminal activities!

    These don't necessarily have to be mutually exclusive. There can be consequences for breaking the law while at the same time opportunities to redirect the subversive behavior to an ethically and legally sound option.

    What "talents"? These are script kiddies who need to learn the hard way not take what isn't theirs.
