Yes. I believe that autism is a disease, researching a cure will provide future children an opportunity to have a higher quality of life than my child(ren) currently has(have). Why wouldn't we research this?

I feel autism is not a disease, therefore does not need a "cure." There are therapies that are effective in treating the more challenging parts of autism.

I feel as though my child(ren) is/are bullied by the other children or teachers at school/daycare/afterschool, ect.
I have a lot of family members who are supportive and helpful to me and my child(ren).
I pretty much take care of my autistic child(ren) on my own. It's beyond tough.
I have some support, but I am cautious with whom I share and to whom I lean on.
My child has been enrolled in ABA therapy, and no longer requires it.
