My husband and I LOVE Surviving Jack and we are bitterly disappointed in Fox for not knowing a great sitcom when it hits them in the face!!!! Christopher Meloni and Rachel Harris are fantastic and the kids are terrific, as well. Canceling this show was a huge mistake--Fox didn't give it a chance and they need to bring it back ASAP!! I'm boycotting the station until they admit they were wrong and renew Surviving Jack!!!!

Probably THE best smart comedy to hit TV in the last 10 years. We looked forward to watching this in it's regular slot once we figured out where it was and after watching the first few episodes OnDemand. Laughed throughout every show...so much so we are rewatching the first season. Fabulous writing and acting. It will be a real shame if this show is cancelled or isn't picked up by another station.

Please bring back Surviving Jack! It was the only sitcom I actually could not wait to see each week...I even found myself watching episodes a second time through hulu. I have never felt compelled to write to keep another show going, but this one is just too good to lose. My family and friends agree - save Surviving Jack!

I think FOX needs to rethink this. I enjoyed this show, especially Chris Meloni. Seeing him in a comedy role was great! This is so much like what parents go through with teenagers. I have enjoyed it. How do we protest this decision?

My wife and I NEVER watch sitcoms anymore because every single one of them has at least one (and many times MORE than one) character that acts completely moronic. Many more sitcoms and animated series have the ENTIRE CAST acting moronic. Not for us, period. Then, all of a sudden, we were channel surfing and found "Surviving Jack". We just caught the last half of the last episode and laughed ourselves silly. We loved it so much that we went "on demand" and immediately watched all of the former episodes that were still available to see. What a refreshing change! Not only did the writing, acting and production seem top-shelf, but each situation somehow combined heartfelt parenting with humor and realism. We were so excited that we just could not wait to watch the next episode. I excitedly told my daughter and son-in-law that we finally found a really GOOD sitcom that we could regularly watch. Imagine my disappointment when my son-in-law informed me that he had just read that the show was cancelled! So soon?!?!?!?!? We just found it!!!!!. I guess there just weren't enough retarded moronic characters acting like complete fools. That must me what the networks are really looking for. After all, that is exactly what every other sitcom has going for it. What a shame.

I can't believe they gave this show the axe already. I really looked forward to Thursday nights. Every time you find a show that you really enjoy, it ends up on the chopping block. I watched Christopher Meloni on Law & Order SVU for 11 seasons and absolutely loved him, then to watch him go from drama to comedy just blew me away!! He can do it all!! It's a travesty if they take this show off the air. I hope another station will pick it up, I know when Southland was cancelled, it was picked up by TNT & Cougar Town was picked up by TBS. So, if they have any common sense, someone will pick it up. Also when Law & Order Criminal Intent gave Gorem & Eams (their character names) the axe, there were enough complaints (myself included), that they actually brought them back for the final season. So if enough people enjoyed Surviving Jack & continue to write in, we might just get somewhere.

This is a great show I watched every episode and could relate as both a parent and a 90's teenager. It's the only show I have watched on Fox in a long time. They should have kept it for another season to give it more of a chance. I'm sure that if viewers had more time to catch on it would have been a hit because it was hilarious. Bad move, Fox.

My son alerted me to this show and encouraged me and his dad to watch it! He was so right that we could relate to the Dunlevys! It was like watching our lives! Jack is definitely worth keeping and if Fox wants to be stupid and dump it then it should definitely be picked up by another network!! It is truly worth keeping!!!! Fox needs to wake up and realize this show is awesome!

I saw one comment stating that perhaps TBS or TNT or may be even USA should pick this show up. I am for that. Fox doesn't seem to have the same mindset as parents struggling to raise children in this world. I have never laughed as hard as I did watching this show last night, I was delighted. Clean decent situations that make you laugh. Only other show this year I have enjoyed and I watch the re runs constantly is Modern Family. Families wanting to raise decent kids.

I finally found this for the first time last night, I loved it. The kids didn't curse like truck drivers, they weren't rude and nasty, and talking boldly about adult topics and the family was a happy family unit, struggling with raising teenagers. Not since the Huxtables have I seen a show that could appeal to all decent parents and families, or that you could honestly sit down with your kids and watch it and not be uncomfortable. What is Fox thinking? Some of the reality junk that is on the air just help to destroy what is left of family unity and decency. We need more happy, solid family unit shows like this one. If timing is bad, put it on at a time that won't interfere with the FOX favorites. I saw Meloni one time pushing this show on Fox and Friends, usually FOX is advertising their new shows constantly, I never saw any for this one. WHY?

This was a funny sitcom that was mis-marketed by Fox. Really? 7 episodes and then you kill it? Given the 90s retro element, sharp writing and funny cast, this could have been the new MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE (which had a nice 6 year run).
This is a great show -- a modern day cross between The Wonder Years and Married With Children. All the adults I know LOVE the show. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Maybe the problem is that it is right after Idol. Why not try it in another time slot? It would be a real shame to cancel this show.
