Kyle Van Noy should have been 2nd rd pick,Scott Crichton 3rd,then start looking for roster fill ins.And how many times did they pass on Carl Bradford, only to start picking OLB's nobody's ever heard of.Once again the wonder boy outsmarted everyone else, including himself.

Falcon GM not a good evaluator of talent; Grade is C+, B at best; GM does not create competition in all positions; did not hit all needs in draft, and he must have a problem drafting SEC players. No TE and no Safety that can plug-n-play; reached for safety in 3rd round when he could have reached for TE or RB; that could start; 3rd round pick was a Pac10 safety rated @ 144, we draft him at 69; day three past on FSU LB T. Smith very fast tall rangy LB that would have served well in sub packages to aid in coverage of all the NFC South 6'5'' receivers down the middle of the field (4.4 speed in the 40yd dash). OL help available still on day 3. We pasted on 2 centers in the 4th round that could help the OL. Peter Konz was a bad draft pick and he will never play here. South Dakota LB was not the best available player of need. Colt Lyeria and A.C. Lenard 2 TE's either would have improved depth and provided targets that run after catch for Ryan. It is time for a change in Atlanta and the GM should be first in line. I hope I am wrong, but you don't see SB Champs drafting players that cannot create strong competition and take a roster spot. It keeps everyone hungry and prevents drop off in performance due to lack of depth.
