Did Conan O'Brien's Rob Ford bit go to far?

When Ford announced he was going into rehab I was happy because I thought we wouldn't have to see him on TV for a couple of months. Not so. The next day the story was that when he landed in Chicago the US customs refused to let him in. Then he disappeared and we were told he was in rehab somewhere in North America. After his calls to constituents and a newspaper saying rehab was "amazing" and like sports camp it was obvious he was not in a facility that was properly geared to manage his many problems. He should not just be treated for alcoholism. He is a drug addict and that treatment is much more intense. It is like comparing treating a simple headache with a terrible migraine. Then his camp repeatedly asked for privacy. Fine, we don't want to hear about him anyway. Then he goes out to Bracebridge and has his photo taken with many folks there. So much for keeping his whereabouts private. Since then his car was seen on a secluded road for two nights in a row near the facility and a rehab friend of his was arrested for DUI in that car. Pretty strange. Now he has emerged in Midland taking pictures with folks again. This is like no legit rehab I have ever heard of. He is not taking it seriously and when he gets home he has no strong support group to keep him on the straight and narrow. He is a walking time bomb.
